Abstract
|

|
Rhinophyma is an irregular, disfiguring, hypertrophic distortion of the nesev arying in degree, type and extent.
Hystorically it has been considered the end result of acne rosacea in alcoholic men in their 50years.
Although the initial disorder is that of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, the muscle, vascular element and even cartilage become involved in the pathologic process.
We experienced a large size of rhinophyma which nearly obstructed the nares. We treated it by using a method of En Bloc resection of skin and subcutaneous tissue with full thickness skin graft from the retroauricular area.
